The community is invited to PPS’ first ‘Silver Spur Paniolo Lifetime Achievement Awards’COMMUNITY INVITED TO PPS’: 5:30 p.m., Sat., Jan. 21, 2012. A community celebration honoring “the true keepers and protectors of the paniolo culture – the senior stewards” with special emphasis on their mentorship of others. At the new Paniolo Heritage Center at Pukalani Stables in Waimea. To include reception and delicious paniolo pa’ina (feast) with laulau, kalua pig, long rice with all the fixings.
