for PANIOLO PRESERVATION SOCIETY’S GALA DINNER AND FUNDRAISER!

Every other year, Paniolo Preservation Society holds its Gala Dinner and Fundraiser to continue the mission of PPS to preserve, protect, and promote Hawaii’s proud cowboy heritage and the revitalization of Parker Ranch’s historic Pukalani Stables. This September 23rd our Gala will honor the music of Hawaii’s cowboy, Na Mele O Paniolo, with specific acknowledgment of the works of Kindy Sproat, Ernie Cruz Sr., and Kuana Torres Kahele. Honored guests from the Sproat, Cruz, and Kahele ohanas will be in attendance – more on that in future updates!

Another special guest at this year’s Gala will be Fred Fellows and his wife, Deborah. Fred Fellows is a cowboy and an incredibly talented Western artist who created the bronze statue of Ikua Purdy that is a cornerstone of community pride and cultural significance here in Waimea. Paniolo Preservation Society looks forward to welcoming Fred and Deborah Fellows back to Waimea for this year’s festivities!

Tickets will be available soon from PPS Board members and at the Paniolo Heritage Center. As always, there will be live music, a wonderful meal, a thrilling live auction of paniolo themed items, and of course, special guests and grand fellowship. More updates soon on tickets and exciting details on the event, but for now – SAVE THE DATE – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd, 2017!
